The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the center, ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. This role includes managing staff, optimizing business performance, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and
driving revenue growth through effective marketing, guest services, and operational efficiency. The General Manager will work closely with various departments, including sales, kitchen, entertainment, and customer service, to create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Staff Management:
o Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team of staff, including department heads (sales, operations, kitchen, entertainment, guest services).
o Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure a high level of customer service and operational efficiency.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
o Foster a positive, energetic, and guest-focused culture that aligns with the company's values.
Operations & Facility Management:
o Oversee day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring that all areas (rides, games, attractions, dining, etc.) are operating smoothly and efficiently.
o Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, clean, safe, and in compliance with local regulations (including health and safety codes).
o Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
Financial Management & Budgeting:
o Develop and manage the center’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and expenses are controlled.
o Monitor revenue streams, including admission, food and beverage, retail, and event sales, and implement strategies to increase profitability.
o Analyze financial data and provide regular reports to ownership or senior management on performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Guest Experience & Customer Service:
o Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
o Implement and oversee quality control measures to enhance the overall guest experience. o Create and maintain programs that reward loyalty and encourage repeat visits, such as membership programs, birthday parties, or seasonal promotions.
Sales & Marketing:
o Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract new customers to the FEC, including social media, local partnerships, and community events.
o Drive sales initiatives to increase attendance, boost group bookings, and promote special events, birthday parties, corporate functions, and seasonal programs.
o Work with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns, advertising materials, and digital content.
Event Planning & Coordination:
o Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale events, corporate functions, birthday parties, and other group bookings, ensuring all details are handled to client satisfaction.
o Ensure that event spaces, catering, and entertainment meet client needs and exceed expectations.
Safety & Compliance:
o Maintain a strong focus on safety by ensuring all safety protocols, equipment inspections, and employee training are up to date.
o Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the FEC adheres to safety, health, and operational standards.
Community Engagement & Networking:
o Establish and nurture relationships with local businesses, schools, community organizations, and event planners to increase brand awareness and drive group bookings.
o Represent the company at local events, trade shows, and community activities.
Reporting & Analysis:
o Provide regular updates to ownership or senior management on center performance, goals, and strategies for growth.
o Analyze guest feedback, financial reports, and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a family entertainment center, amusement park, hospitality, or similar industry.
o Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and driving business performance in a high-volume environment.
Skills:
o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
o Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
o Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
o Experience with sales, marketing, and event management.
o Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as industry best practices

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
