    Job Title: Studio General Manager (Operating Partner Track) – RockBox Fitness Summerville

    About the Role

    RockBox Fitness Summerville is looking for an energetic, growth-minded, and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive the aggressive expansion of our studio. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial leadership role requiring a rare blend of sales grit, fitness expertise, and team-building capability.

    We aren't just looking for an operational manager; we want a builder who treats the business as their own. For the right leader, this role features a clear, performance-earned pathway to an Operating Partner or equity partnership role.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Revenue Growth: Take a hands-on approach to front-desk operations, aggressively driving membership sales, local lead generation, and revenue through new sign-ups and merchandise retail.

    Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team of sales associates and fitness coaches. Build, lead, and scale these roles effectively as the studio grows.

    Operations & Member Experience: Oversee day-to-day studio operations, including staff scheduling, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a premium, high-energy member experience.

    Administrative & Metrics: Manage studio systems (Mariana Tek), track key performance indicators (KPIs), handle payroll, and manage studio budgeting to ensure consistent profitability.

    Role Requirements

    Proven Studio Growth: Demonstrated experience successfully expanding a boutique fitness studio’s membership base, revenue, and local footprint.

    Dual-Threat Skillset: Direct, hands-on experience in BOTH group fitness training/coaching and front-desk sales operations. You must be able to do the job effectively before you can lead others in it.

    Leadership & Team Building: Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage a staff across both sales and fitness roles as the business scales.

    Business Mindset: Strong communication, organizational skills, and a data-driven approach to tracking performance metrics.

    Drive & Ambition: A true desire to expand, excel, and actively earn your way into a long-term partnership stake.

    Flexibility: Ability to work peak studio hours, including evenings and weekends, to drive the business forward.
