    About the Role

    We are a fast-growing, multi-trade Roofing & HVAC company headquartered in Fresno, CA, seeking a proven General Manager to lead daily operations with a strong emphasis on sales execution, team leadership, and profitable growth.

    This is not a passive management role. The General Manager will be hands-on, working directly with the sales team in the field, leading daily huddles, running training sessions, and ensuring operational excellence across roofing and HVAC divisions. You will act as the right hand to ownership, translating vision into execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

    Own and oversee all sales operations across Roofing & HVAC

    Ride along with sales reps regularly to coach, train, and close

    Lead daily sales huddles, weekly pipeline reviews, and performance meetings

    Set, track, and enforce KPIs (closing rates, revenue targets, speed-to-lead, follow-up)

    Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales professionals

    Implement and refine sales processes, scripts, and pricing discipline

    Ensure consistent white-glove customer experience across all jobs

    Operations & Daily Execution

    Oversee daily scheduling, workflows, and coordination between sales and operations

    Ensure jobs are properly scoped, sold, and handed off for execution

    Maintain accountability for timelines, quality, and customer satisfaction

    Work closely with office staff, dispatch, and management to remove bottlenecks

    Support operational planning for roofing, HVAC service, repairs, and replacements

    Team Leadership & Culture

    Lead from the front — in the office and in the field

    Conduct daily team meetings, weekly trainings, and monthly reviews

    Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and performance

    Enforce company standards for presentation, communication, and follow-through

    Serve as a mentor and leader across departments

    Strategic Planning & Growth

    Assist ownership in scaling systems, people, and processes

    Identify opportunities to improve margins, efficiency, and close rates

    Help launch and expand new services, territories, or sales initiatives

    Use data and reporting to drive smarter decisions and forecasting

    Qualifications & Experience

    5+ years of leadership experience in roofing, HVAC, or home services

    Proven background managing and scaling sales teams

    Strong understanding of in-home sales, estimates, and customer psychology

    Comfortable being in the field, on roofs, and in customer homes

    Experience running daily meetings, trainings, and performance reviews

    Operational mindset with the ability to execute, not just strategize

    High level of professionalism, organization, and accountability

    Local to Fresno / Central Valley or willing to relocate

    Experience with EOS, structured KPIs, or multi-division operations is a strong plus.
