The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability Responsibilities: • Conduct daily check-ins with department teams and lead training meetings to uphold service standards. • Perform administrative duties, such as payroll, bank deposits, and completing operational checklists. • Handle guest complaints and queries, promoting exceptional customer service. • Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance. • Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred. • Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
