The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. • Perform administrative duties, such as payroll, bank deposits, and completing operational checklists. • Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. • Lead staff training meetings and ensure operational checklists and safety protocols are followed. • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team. Qualifications: • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • 1 -3 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
