We provide culinary entertainment to kids, families, and adults in a fun, beautiful, and state-of-the-art Kitchen Studio. Kids ages 2 to teen love our hands-on cooking classes, camps, birthday parties, and field trips. Adults love our BYOB date night cooking classes, birthday parties, bachelorettes, showers, and corporate events. Our innovative programs are as entertaining as they are educational!     General Manager Job Description:

    We are looking for a General Manager to play a critical role in the success of Taste Buds Kitchen! You will have the skills and experience to drive sales, manage the day-to-day operations and staff in our Kitchen, create an exceptional client experience and be a natural leader. This is the perfect opportunity to interact with clients on a daily basis to create a supportive and meaningful community.

    General Manager Responsibilities:

    Open availability is required, including nights and weekends. Taste Buds Kitchen hosts events 7-days a week.

    Promptly respond to client sales inquiries and manage bookings to secure the "right fit" for our guests.

    Instruct cooking classes, camps and parties for ages 2-99. Engage and teach guests about various cooking/baking skills from the class menu.

    Ensure all guests experience top-tier hospitality and walk away with exceptional memories.

    Be the role model of what is expected of a Culinary Instructor.

    Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, managing, scheduling, and professional development.

    Work with owner to track and achieve monthly sales goals

    Maintain a vibrant social media presence, and provide proactive feedback and innovative ideas on current marketing strategies.

    Track financials such as monthly sales goals, food costs, marketing spending, and payroll.

    Enforce compliance with all company policies, internal systems, and local laws. Continuously evaluate and streamline kitchen systems to maximize operational efficiency.

    Maintain pristine cleanliness and strict branding alignment throughout the kitchen facility.

    Act as the primary emergency substitute to cover shifts when necessary.

    General Manager Qualifications:

    Proven ability to recruit, train, manage, and maintain a highly motivated team.

    Comfortable with a range of cooking/baking techniques.

    Formal culinary education or equivalent experience a plus.

    Experience working with people of all ages.

    Experience working in an events-based business or hospitality environment.

    1-3 years experience in a supervisory or management position.

    Strong customer service skills.

    A business or management degree a plus.

    Must enjoy the close-knit atmosphere of a growing small business.
