    About The Company

    The company is a long-standing, founder-led HVAC services business in South Florida with over 30 years of operating history and a strong local reputation. With approximately 35+ employees and nearly $9M in annual revenue, the business is entering its next phase of growth through new service-line expansion (plumbing), operational scaling, and potential acquisitions across the Florida market.

    The owner is seeking a trusted, high-integrity General Manager to step into day-to-day leadership of the business and run it with the same care, accountability, and ownership mindset as if it were their own.

    The Opportunity

    This is a true “run-the-business” role — not a back-office operator and not a corporate figurehead.

    You will take full operational ownership of the company while working closely with the owner, who will remain actively involved during a thoughtful, hands-on transition period. Over time, this role is designed to become the primary on-the-ground leader responsible for people, performance, culture, and results.

    What You’ll Do

    Full P&L & Business Ownership
    • Own day-to-day operations across service, install, warehouse, and office functions

    • Manage the P&L, budgets, KPIs, and cost controls to sustain profitability and growth

    • Ensure the business continues to grow year-over-year without operational backslide

    Leadership & Culture
    • Lead a team of ~35 employees through direct oversight of department managers

    • Reinforce a culture built on accountability, work ethic, and “no job is beneath anyone”

    • Lead visibly and credibly — never asking someone to do something you wouldn’t do yourself

    Operational Excellence
    • Drive performance through metrics, systems, and disciplined execution

    • Use ServiceTitan and operational data to manage productivity, margins, and customer experience

    • Identify process gaps and implement scalable systems as the company grows

    Growth & Expansion
    • Support the launch of a new plumbing service line (planned near-term expansion)

    • Help prepare the business for scale, including future acquisitions in Florida

    • Assist in identifying, hiring, and developing key leadership roles as the organization grows

    Talent & Decision-Making
    • Hire, develop, and (when necessary) make tough decisions to protect the business

    • Recruit independently for critical roles as needed

    • Hold leaders accountable while maintaining trust and respect across the organization

    What Success Looks Like (Year One)

    • The business continues its current growth trajectory (15–20% target)

    • Plumbing is successfully launched and operationally supported

    • The team remains stable, engaged, and aligned during leadership transition

    • The business is stronger, more scalable, and more systematized than when you arrived

    You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have:

    • 8–15+ years of leadership experience in HVAC, plumbing, or home services

    • Prior GM, Operations Manager, or senior leadership experience with full P&L ownership

    • Strong financial and operational acumen (KPIs, margins, forecasting, labor efficiency)

    • A hands-on, no-ego leadership style with high accountability

    • The ability to influence, develop, and lead teams with credibility and charisma

    • Comfort working in a founder-led environment with direct communication

    • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service platforms

    Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required — experience and leadership capability matter more.

    Bonus Points For:

    • Military leadership experience (officer or senior enlisted)

    • Experience scaling service businesses under $20M in revenue

    • Exposure to acquisitions or multi-location operations

    • Background in Florida-based service markets
