The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability Responsibilities: • Handle guest complaints and queries, promoting exceptional customer service. • Conduct daily check-ins with department heads to align on priorities and maintain operations. • Perform administrative duties, such as payroll, bank deposits, and completing operational checklists. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. • Be present on property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support the team. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. • 1 -3 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred. Compensation: $60,000+ Depending on experience
