Position Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for leading all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, developing a strong team, delivering memorable guest experiences, and achieving financial goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive and inspiring leader with a passion for hospitality and a strong sense of accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Culture:
Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team aligned with JTR’s service standards and values.
Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Lead by example with integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
Guest Experience:
Ensure every guest receives genuine hospitality and a consistently excellent experience.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback.
Promote guest engagement, loyalty, and return visits.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations including service execution, cleanliness, scheduling, and shift flow.
Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Coordinate closely with culinary leadership to ensure menu quality and execution.
Profitability & Performance:
Manage controllables and labor to meet or exceed budget targets.
Drive revenue through private dining bookings, community partnerships, and local promotions.
Monitor and analyze KPIs to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
Financial acumen including budget management, cost control, and an eye for profitability.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
A passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest moments.
