Job core responsibilities and desired skillset • Conducting inspections both regular and ad hoc of the production process, equipment and final products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Using specialized tools for measuring and testing equipment to measure, test and evaluate product reliability and outputs. • Documenting findings by recording non-compliance findings and providing actionable feedback for improvement. • Collaborating with teams with other departments to enhance the overall quality and safety of process. • Preparations of reports, inspection findings, documenting outcomes and some filing. • Multitasking, attention to detail and accuracy is a must. • Experience with quality standards, expectations and understanding of calibrated equipment. • Experience with measurement tools including scales, gages and micrometers. • Basic knowledge of technical drawings and prints. • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs. • Must be able to handle very small parts sometimes measuring less than 1mm. • Opportunity to learn and grow into other areas of operations.
Education • Highschool diploma or equivalent
Shift • First shift 7:00am-3:30pm • Ability to work occasional overtime running into 2nd shift, evenings and possibly weekends
Salary & Benefits • $20-$23 hour based on experience • Paid time off
