About the Role:
Dale T. Smith & Sons Meat Packing is looking for a hardworking and reliable General Production Worker to join our team in North Salt Lake City, UT. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our meat processing operation, where your work directly supports the quality products our customers depend on. Responsibilities:
Perform general production tasks on the meat processing floor,
Operate and maintain production line equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and USDA compliance standards at all times
Monitor product quality and report any defects or irregularities to supervisors
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving raw materials and finished products
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with facility hygiene standards
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
Requirements:
Previous experience in meat processing, food production, or a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout a full shift
Comfortable working in cold, wet, or temperature-controlled environments
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning, weekend, or rotating shifts as needed
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work well within a team
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
