  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for a large-scale high-rise construction project. This role is responsible for overseeing all structural and building envelope activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

    This is a key leadership position for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record managing complex vertical construction projects from foundation through close-in.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead all field operations from mat foundation through structural completion and full building close-in
    • Drive and maintain the vertical deck cycle, ensuring alignment with the project’s critical path and 30-month master schedule
    • Coordinate structural, MEPF, and façade scopes to maintain workflow efficiency and minimize rework
    • Plan and manage site logistics including cranes, hoists, formwork systems, staging areas, and site access
    • Conduct daily coordination meetings with trade partners to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards
    • Proactively identify and resolve field issues to avoid delays and maintain production targets
    • Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers, reinforcing best practices and accountability
    • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers to align manpower, procurement, and short-term scheduling (three-week look-ahead)
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards across all phases of construction
    • Serve as the primary field representative, maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction, with a strong focus on high-rise structural concrete and building envelope systems
    • Proven success delivering post-tension concrete towers or mixed-use high-rise projects on schedule
    • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, structural systems, façade coordination, and tolerance control
    • Experience leading large field teams and multiple trade partners on complex projects
    • Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore and Primavera P6
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing field operations
    • Ability to work onsite in an active construction environment, including exposure to noise, equipment, and changing site conditions
