Job Title: Applications Engineer

Salary Range: 80-85k

Employment Type: Full Time

Department: Engineering

Reports To: VP of Engineering

Responsibilities:

· Support in estimating shop labor, materials and outside services

· Complete BOM generation

· Conduct pump inspections, pump selection, and pump evaluations

· Manage staging of pulled equipment, including stage bowls, parts buckets, head parts, centralizers, and airlines.

· Prepare jobs and necessary items scheduled for tear down (bowls, head parts, etc) and stage in designated area.

· Locate and identify complete column assemblies.

· Identify and test motors as needed

· Occasionally arrange for pick up for material and equipment repairs as needed

· Take pictures of equipment

· Report newly arrived material to the Project Management Department

· Review new materials for accuracy and properly stage for shop inspection.

· Prepare jobs that are scheduled for inspection in the designated area

· Acquire and keep detailed records of measurements; verify we have materials for matching parts.

· Properly dispose of leftover materials after a job is complete

· Locate test pump equipment as needed and designate proper staging areas

· Complete equipment inspection report

· Manage the Test Pump Design, which includes identifying Bowls and test pump equipment

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of pumps and related equipment.

• Ability to diagnose problems with pumps and related equipment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)

*CAD Experience is preferred, but not required.

• Valid driver's license.
