Position Summary: The General Service Automotive Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and basic repairs. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks

Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance issues

Install and balance tires

Replace filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and batteries

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Follow company procedures and safety standards

Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous automotive experience preferred but not required

Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance practices

Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
