Position Overview The General Service Technician (GS Tech) plays an essential role in our shop — handling routine maintenance, inspections, and light repairs while learning alongside experienced techs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a full technician role, with paid training and a clear path toward becoming a Certified Maryland State Inspector.

We’re looking for someone who’s dependable, mechanically inclined, and committed to doing every job with accuracy, care, and a team-first mindset.

What You’ll Do

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and other routine maintenance

Mount, balance, and repair tires

Inspect brakes and assist with pad/rotor replacement

Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings clearly

Assist senior techs with diagnostics and repair procedures

Maintain a clean, organized work bay

Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members

Follow all safety procedures and quality control protocols

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of automotive experience or equivalent training

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Basic hand tools preferred (shop tools available for some tasks)

ASE certifications or technical school experience are a plus
