We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable General Shop Laborer to join our team.

Job Overview:
The General Shop Laborer will assist in various tasks throughout the shop, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. This position involves basic labor duties that support the daily operations of our shop. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, including tools and equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment when needed.
- Support skilled workers in their tasks, including construction, assembly, or fabrication as required.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in preparing workstations and materials for production or assembly jobs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a labor or shop environment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
