    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Confidential Oklahoma City-area heavy civil construction opportunity for an experienced General Superintendent / Project Superintendent to support construction and field operations. The role is intended for a proven field leader who can help coordinate projects, crews, resources, and execution while strengthening the broader operations team.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide field leadership and operational support across active heavy civil construction projects.
    • Coordinate superintendents, foremen, crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project priorities.
    • Support project planning, scheduling, production, quality, safety, and execution from mobilization through completion.
    • Work closely with project management and operations leadership to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
    • Monitor manpower and equipment utilization and help align resources across projects.
    • Reinforce accountability for safety, productivity, workmanship, schedule, and cost awareness.
    • Develop and mentor field leaders while helping establish consistent operating expectations across crews.
    • Communicate project status, constraints, resource needs, and operational risks to leadership.

    PREFERRED BACKGROUND

    • Significant heavy civil construction field leadership experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Project Superintendent, or comparable role.
    • Experience coordinating multiple crews, scopes, or projects and working closely with project management and operations leadership.
    • Background in roadway, earthwork, underground utilities, site development, concrete, asphalt, or related civil construction.
    • Strong knowledge of field production, manpower/equipment planning, safety, scheduling, and construction execution.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead people, solve field problems, communicate across functions, and improve operational consistency.
    • Interest in joining an organization that promotes from within and offers potential for increased responsibility as the business grows.

     

    COMPENSATION

    Typical compensation: DOE, depending on experience and qualifications.
