Job Title: General Labor – Fabrication Shop Location: Dundee, MI Company: Mitchell Equipment Corporation

Job Summary: Mitchell Equipment Corporation is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our assembly team. This position supports a variety of shop activities including parts painting, mechanical assembly clean machines in machine shop. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic shop environment and willing to take on a range of tasks as needed. Training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate basic machinery such as spray painting with spry guns, drill presses, band saws, and grinders

Assemble Hydraulic Hoses

Assembly Hydraulic Fittings on valves

Assist fabricators and machinists with general shop tasks

Load and unload materials using carts, dollies, or forklifts (if certified)

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a fabrication or machine shop preferred, but not required

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate shop tools

Willingness to learn and take direction

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Fork Lift Operator

Work Environment:

Indoor fabrication shop environment with steel, machinery, and power tools

Safety gear (PPE) provided and required
