    NOW HIRING FULL TIME EXPERIENCED HOSPICE ALTERNATE ADMINISTRATOR

    JOB SUMMARY: Primary function is to assume overall responsibility and authority for administrative and leadership functions, supervision of the organizational plan, and responsibility for ongoing communication with the Board of Directors and IDT as well as agency staff.

    JOB LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

    JOB CLASSIFICATION: Executive

    JOB QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Be a licensed physician, RN, Licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management OR supervision experience in a health related setting OR have at least a high school diploma or a general equivalency degree with at least two years of management supervisory experience in a health related setting, such as a home and community support services agency, hospital, nursing facility, hospice, outpatient rehabilitation center, psychiatric facility, intermediate care facility for persons with cognitive conditions or a license health care delivery setting providing services for individuals with functional disabilities.

    MBA’s experienced in health care management are encourage to apply.

    SKILLS: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay and professional public, the Board of Directors, and Medical Director. Shall be able to read, write and comprehend English. Maintain twelve (12) clock hours annually of education pertaining to job responsibilities. Comply with training in Administration of agencies; TAC 97.259 and or TAC 97.260

    ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Works in an office environment, promoting efficient functioning and coordination of all agency activities to insure the highest level of professional patient care. Ability to work a flexible schedule, ability to travel locally; ability to join meetings via various online platforms; and the ability to promote open lines of communication

    SALARY: Is discussed during interview, at the Executive level, and based on experience, goal attainment. Profit share is available.
