JOB DESCRIPTION:

Number of Weeks: 13

Payroll Specialist - Per Diem

Location: Providence, RI

JOB SUMMARY:

· Responsible for processing and verifying time sheets and payroll data to ensure the correct payment of weekly payroll to hospital employees.

· Prepares Health, Welfare and Dues payments to Union Funds.

· Wire transfers payroll taxes to IRS.

SPECIFICATIONS:

· High school graduate or equivalent with at least three years of previous payroll related experience. - Knowledge of computers and payroll applications preferred.

· Proficiency in the English language and a strong aptitude for working with figures necessary.

· Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.

1. Can consider payroll and HR related experience for some of the roles.

2. Can consider administrative support experience for some of the roles.

· Some work can be remote, some not.

· Several roles, both levels, per Diem and can adjust to schedule availability.

· Length of assignment TBD
