Job Description

We’re looking for an organized and trustworthy candidate to join our growing Accounting team at our Lenexa KS Office. The Accountant position will work closely with other accountants and operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping.

We’re a multi-location franchisee of Quick Service Restaurants and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day financials.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate financial results by preparing the financial data for the closing of the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycles.
• Protect the Company’s financial assets by reconciling the company’s bank accounts to the General ledger (GL) and preparing journal entries.
• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial data and reports
• Quarterly and monthly tax reporting.
• Ability to account and reconcile intercompany Payables and receivables.
• Perform ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or equivalent is preferred; however; Recent Graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
• Strong General Ledger (GL) management skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and must be very organized.
• Professional attitude and presentation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
