    The Spa at Overland Park Genesis Health is looking for a Full Time Spa Manager. *Serious Inquiries only. We offer a competitive compensation plan, great benefits including health insurance and 401K. FREE gym membership with FT employment.

    The ideal candidate must:

    Be an experienced Licensed KS Esthetician with a clientele/following.

    Have experience in and/or posses knowledge of the Professional Dermalogica Skincare line.

    Have at least 3-5 years of Management and/or Sales experience.

    Have great Customer service skills.

    Have a positive, upbeat, & professional demeanor at all times.

    Be an influencer, team player, and be able to cross promote/partner with multiple departments.

    Have experience recruiting top talent in the Spa industry.

    Love of fitness a plus!

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Performing Skincare services for clients on a regular basis.

    Recruiting top talent, hiring, scheduling and the initial and continued training/education of new Spa professionals.

    Promote the health benefits of skincare and massage services and generate new clientele through marketing and promotional programs.

    Ensure profitability of the Spa program by overseeing and following up with all Spa staff, department goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Maintain and create staff schedules, focusing on effective scheduling of all Spa professionals to meet the needs of the members and Spa business

    Weekly touch base with the Spa Director and Club Manager to maintain club requirements and club operations. Must attend all in club Management meetings.

    Complete profitability/goal reports on weekly and monthly basis to review with Spa Director.

    Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are competed in a timely manner.

    Maintain retail inventory checklist as well as compile and submit monthly Spa retail and supply orders.

    Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.

    Perform all duties and assignments as necessary or required for spa professionals and any other duties as assigned.

    Comply with all aspects of the Genesis Health Club Staff Policy Handbook.

    Expectations:

    Provide input in developing strategies to support departmental goals and objectives.

    Recommend staff development/ educational activities.

    Develop and build a team atmosphere among spa staff.

    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members.

    Job Requirements:

    Must be a Licensed Esthetician or Massage Therapist with a clientele/following.

    Must be willing to sign a non-compete (Can not perform services anywhere but GHC)

    Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays, or as needed.

    Must hold a CPR certification
