    Position: Guest Services Coordinator

    Reports To: Waterpark Manager

    Employee Type: Full Time

    Job Summary:

    This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of all ticketing and admissions functions including ecommerce tickets, on-site ticket operations, special event ticketing, RFID technology, electronic admissions menu boards and access control.

    These duties will include training, scheduling, and auditing of staff.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    -Operate within the budget and identify new ways to improve the development of the business

    -Creatively generate revenue and control costs

    -Train and schedule all staff to enable them to carry out their own duties and responsibilities

    -Execute special events/promotions in the waterpark

    -Monitor staff

    -Answers phones

    -Interacts with guests in a positive, enthusiastic manner

    -Greets every guest

    -Responsible for daily cash handling, security, and deposits

    -Participate in employee meetings, review, and development

    -Establish and maintain professional relationships with members/guest, suppliers, and staff

    -Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner

    -Ensures all admissions outlets are clean, maintained and always organized

    -Ensures admissions outlet is stocked with all necessary supplies

    -Recommends pricing strategies

    -Programs POS system

    -Ensure compliance with all national, state, and local laws

    -Other duties and projects as assigned

    Expectations:

    Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing all business entities of the Genesis Sports Complex

    Provide input in developing strategies to support waterpark and goals and objectives

    Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff and department

    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints

    Job Requirements:

    Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

    Ability to work well with others

    Experience in cash handling and credit card processing

    Customer service abilities

    Experience managing in the food/beverage/retail industry

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for long periods of time

    Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

    Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing, and speaking
