About Us:
The Sandbox is a leading adult sports establishment centered about food and beverage featuring fun and engaging sports, it is a rapidly expanding sports management company. At our vibrant venue, The Sandbox in Derby, Kansas, featuring 8 indoor/outdoor volleyball courts, 6 pickleball courts, 20 cornhole lanes, and an incredible food and bar establishment, we’re all about engaging, creating and entertaining a dynamic community.
The Role:
As our Sports Coordinator, you will orchestrate the logistics of sporting events at The Sandbox, ensuring that everything from the initial planning to the final whistle is executed flawlessly. You will be engaged in creating leagues, tournaments, special events, and learn to play programs. Your role is pivotal in connecting people through the power of sports, fostering communities, and creating unforgettable experiences.
What You’ll Do:
Organize and coordinate sports events and programs at The Sandbox.
Serve as the main point of contact for athletes, coaches, and other sports professionals.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to maximize efficiency and impact.
Harness your entrepreneurial spirit to innovate and expand our offerings through increased revenue and profits. .
Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, embodying our core value of connection.
Who You Are:
A bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in sports event management or coordination.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a huge growth mindset.
Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
A dynamic team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
