GENESIS10 IS SEEKING A FINANCE/ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE-SETTLEMENT AND CLAIMS OPERATIONS FOR A 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION WITH A MORTGAGE LOAN CORPORATION LOCATED IN PLANO, TX. THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION AND REQUIRES BEING ONSITE TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.  $22-$25/HR SUMMARY: The Finance Accounting Associate-Settlement Operations position will be responsible for mitigating losses and managing the relationship between Servicers and Mortgage Insurance Companies. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Reconciling and collecting aged receivables on Mortgage Insurance claims.
• Decreasing outstanding receivables through strong communications with external business partners, detailed follow-up on missing documentation, and engaging other business areas as necessary.
• Facilitating monthly meetings between Servicers and Mortgage Insurance companies to build rapport with external business partners.
• Reviewing claim rescissions and denials against existing policies for accuracy, appeals decisions and acquires additional documentation to validate as necessary.
• Auditing Explanation of Benefits provided by MI companies for payment accuracy including challenging and appealing incorrect claim payments; billing servicer and issuing loan repurchases as appropriate.
• Serving as a liaison between internal business areas; recommending new processes and procedures to expedite claim payment.
• Escalating findings as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of experience
• Claims or accounting reconciliation experience
• Excel
• Microsoft Office tools
• Salesforce experience
• Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp)
