    DS Technologies Inc is looking for Genesys Platform Engineer – Pure Engage (On-Prem) role for one of our premier clients.

    Job Title: Genesys Platform Engineer – Pure Engage (On-Prem) Location: Onsite – Phoenix, AZ Position Type: Contract Only W2

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Genesys Platform Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Genesys Pure Engage On-Prem environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Genesys infrastructure components, along with solid development skills in Go and Python for automation, integration, and performance enhancement. This role will collaborate closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure high availability and efficiency of the Genesys communication ecosystem.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design, implement, and maintain the Genesys PureEngage On-Prem platform including core framework components:

    Configuration Server, Configuration DB, Stat Server, Interaction Concentrator (ICON), Solution Control Server (SCS), and Message Server.

    Administer and configure Genesys Administrator Extension (GAX) and related tools.

    Integrate Genesys solutions with APIs, microservices, and third-party applications to enable seamless customer engagement workflows.

    Develop and automate platform operations using Go and Python to improve scalability, monitoring, and deployment.

    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call routing, reporting, and system integration in a distributed environment.

    Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams for CI/CD, system monitoring, and performance tuning of Genesys applications.

    Manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements to Genesys components to ensure platform stability and alignment with business requirements.

    Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability while implementing proactive optimizations.

    Support integration with CRM, ticketing, and analytics platforms for enhanced agent and customer experiences.

    Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely resolution of production issues.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    7+ years of experience working as a Genesys Platform Engineer or similar role.

    Strong hands-on experience with Genesys PureEngage On-Prem architecture and core components (Configuration Server, DB, Stat Server, ICON, SCS, Message Server, GAX).

    Proficiency in Go and Python for scripting, automation, and service development.

    Deep understanding of distributed systems and debugging techniques.

    Experience with API integrations and microservices-based architectures.

    Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in production environments.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with cloud migration or hybrid contact center environments.

    Familiarity with Genesys Composer, SIP Server, Interaction Routing Designer (IRD), and Genesys Reporting tools.

    Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

    Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana), and API Gateways.
