    Job Description

     

    This discovery project is to analyze scheduling across networks and map them into a single cloud hosted environment capitalizing on common workflow processes in the Enterprise Program and Promotion Scheduling Solution WHATS'On by  MediaGenix. • Cloud-based solution with multi-device access • Manage multiple networks/channels & regions • Expanded Audience Measurement capabilities to include other demographics or ratings metrics • Single Source of Program Schedule information • Single source of Episode, Cast, EPK and Scripts • Enterprise based reporting providing visibility across all brands • Eliminate duplication of effort for show and program schedule creation and maintenance • Eliminate re-keying into other systems to facilitate workflow • Eliminate manual schedule change notifications to other divisions by automating workflow between systems • Import other Networks competitive schedules to eliminate constant manual entry • Shared Inventory and cross promotion opportunities • Unified Promo Planning capabilities will help provide greater visibility to short-form optimization and scheduling workflows across networks • Enhanced exploitation and monetization opportunities • Adapt easily to unforeseen changes in the media space

     

    Additional details and requirements:

    Looking for a BA who has experience with implementations, test plans and test cases and deployment.

    ideally come from media industry- PROGRAM SCHEDULING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. Media experience is helpful. Program scheduling – entire workflow from acquisition to live functions.

    Will cycle through different business units, standardize the process and advise how to align.

    Discovery will be through end of the year. If they move forward with implementation, project will be extended long-term. Want candidate who is open to long-term contract.

    Candidate should be flexible with hours worked. They may need someone who can work off hours at times (especially if they go to implementation – this person must be open to this)

    The Business Analyst will work with the business units, learn their business, understand their requirements and provide technical solutions to meet and support those requirements.   They will work to implement new solutions to support the business clients across multiple platforms based on customer’s needs and in accordance of Information Security policies.  This Program will begin with a discovery phase and move into design, implementation, testing and deployment.

    The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining, analyzing and documenting, user requirements, procedures, problems and leading joint design efforts to offer a new solution or value proposition to customers, automate processing or to improve existing business processes and associated information systems.  The Sr. Business Analyst will also be responsible for defining the appropriate methodologies and best practices for performing business analysis and design in the support of core organizational functions and business processes.
