    Genex Systems is seeking an experienced HC-130J Avionics Engineering Technician with United States Coast Guard (USCG) aviation experience. The selected candidate will join a growing team of engineers, technicians and subject matter experts that provide aviation C4ISR systems engineering services, technical assistance, and other services to the CG-413 Program Management Office in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:

    • Creating MPCs for new electronics being integrated in the C-130J platform.
    • Drafting TCTOs, technical packages, ACCBs, and other engineering related tasks to support LRS PL.
    • Support and logistics for components related to the C-130J.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • None required (Preferred Associates degree in engineering related discipline)
    • Minimum 6 years' experience troubleshooting HC-130J avionics systems.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in prototype development and implementation of avionics related modifications.Shall have experience with: DHS TCTCO (or DoD equivalent), technical change directives, Engineering Change Proposals, MPCs, Aeronautical Publication Change Recommendations, engineering specifications, SICR process, Form Fit Function process, manufacturer blueprints and technical drawings, complex engineering projects, aircraft/ground support equipment interface, making recommendations for repair or fabrication of aircraft parts or airframe repairs.
    • Familiar with DHS/DoD aeronautical engineering policies, preferably USCG ALCINST, COMDTINST, ISO 9000, CGTO PG-85-00-40A
    • Familiar with C-130H/J electronics suite
    • Troubleshooting electronic equipment using various test equipment including but not limited to TDR/FDR, Wattmeter, voltmeter, wiring diagrams, etc...
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to develop technical documentation (technical writing)
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
    • Must be a United States Citizen
