    JOB SUMMARY

    Genezen Laboratories is actively seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join a Lentiviral vector manufacturing CDMO located in Fishers, IN.  The Supply Chain Manager directs the planning, implementation, and maintenance of material management operations from procurement to warehousing/staging, through production and shipment to clients.  This role will oversee purchasing, planning, and material management functions.  The Supply Chain Manager position requires a highly organized, end-to-end thinker who is able to implement systems, set standards, and lead the Supply Chain organization in meeting company objectives.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Ensure safe working environment for all employees and compliance with EHS, Quality, and cGMP procedures and policies
    • Plan and direct Supply Chain activities including the procurement, planning, material management, warehousing, shipping, and receiving functions
    • Set strategy and implement Supply Chain programs for a viral vector development, testing, and manufacturing organization
    • Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve material management systems, policies, procedures, and programs that ensure compliance to company and regulatory body standards for Quality and EHS
    • Handle material planning, including monitoring and managing MRP, safety stocks, and material supply risk analysis/mitigation
    • Manage ERP/MRP system and data, including oversight of BOM setup, creation, and maintenance of parts/inventory management
    • Develop and manage the annual Supply Chain budget for labor, raw materials, consumables, freight, and capital expenditures
    • Operate the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process for the organization
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate the strategic purchase of raw materials, consumables, and freight
    • Support the commercial function in the assessment of new opportunities and provide Supply Chain input to customers
    • Represent Supply Chain function during client and regulatory audits
    • Support the supplier and material qualification process
    • Hire and develop employees within the department in support of site objectives
    • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams in manufacturing, process development, project management, etc. to facilitate a successful customer experience
    • Ensure quality, on time delivery, inventory, and cost improvement targets for supply chain are met

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or similar field preferred
    • 7-10 Years related work experience
    • 5 years supervisor experience including managing vendors
    • 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry
    • Certified APICS, CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent preferred
    • Extensive knowledge of ERP and MRP systems including system implementation
    • Knowledge/demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles, transportation requirements, and contract negotiation
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to build relationships, act as change agent, and adapt to rapidly changing organizational and business needs
    • Ability to thrive in a quickly changing, CDMO environment where flexibility and teamwork is essential
