Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Account Managers will work with the Account Executives, Brokers and VP of Operations to complete the mortgage loan transaction. Account Manager will ensure all information on necessary forms are completed and follow all compliance guidelines before the file is moved to the next stage of the process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding of mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
- Experience with both wet and dry states.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations and requirements with emphasis on FHA, Conventional, and VOE Only.
- Experience and ability to work independently and anticipate needs.
- Communicate with the Broker or Loan officers on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to handle and prioritize own workload with minimal direct supervision.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Mavent and Encompass is required
- Provide training and mentor new employees as part of their onboarding process
- Represents the company in a professional and enthusiastic manner: by providing an exceptional level of customer service, supporting the mission statement, and adhering to our core values in all functions of their job responsibilities and interaction with internal and external customers
- Ability to multi-task, accept, prioritize, and execute on tasks assigned by the Production Manager and VP of Credit.
- Additional responsibilities as management sees fit.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience (within the last 3 years) in Mortgage Lending with at least 3 years of experience in Account Management.
- High School diploma or GED.
- In-depth knowledge of Wholesale loan set-up process.
POSITION SALARY:
$23-28/per hour (based on experience) + Account Manager monthly bonus compensation plan
