    The client's ERP Support Division has a requirement for an SAP Basis Technical Consultant to assist with day-to-day Production support while also assisting with as-needed duties related to data center relocation efforts.

    This position will also assist the ERP Support Division with Technical administration specifically for SAP Mobile, SAP GRC, SAP Enterprise Connector.

    Knowledge of CTS+ and Rev Trac Integration would be a plus.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    • Perform system maintenance activities as needed to ensure 24 X 7 SAP systems availability
    • Provide recommendations on design and implementation requirements that support technical infrastructure
    • Assist with identifying cloud, server, operation system, disk and network requirements needed by SAP applications and utilized database platforms
    • Perform installation, upgrade, and patching of SAP applications, monitoring agents, business connectors, third party plug-ins and components
    • Perform installation, upgrade and patching of utilized database platforms currently, but not limited to, SAP Hana and Microsoft SQL server
    • Provide database administration including backup, recovery, and administrative management of the platform while adhering to security policies and procedures.
    • Provide SAP application administration including client and system operation, management and maintenance, performance monitoring and tuning, TMS administration and transport processing, issue resolution and cause analysis, disaster recovery planning and implementation, assist with interface and system integration of both SAP and non-SAP applications, application printing infrastructure, front-end desktop and end-user support
    • Assist with client, system, and database copies utilizing Rubrik, SAP, Libelle System Copy, and manual processes and methods
    • Provide ongoing support to the SAP user community and information technology teams. This requires expert research and problem-solving skills required to perform root cause analysis and issue resolution.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of professional experience providing SAP basis administration supporting a large and diverse SAP footprint. This must include experience supporting SAP GRC, SAP Mobile Platform and SAP Enterprise Connector.
    • 5+ years of professional experience providing SAP Hana and MS SQL Server database administration.
    • Working knowledge of Rev Trac and SAP CTS+
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems required to support applications and databases hosted on both platforms
    • Familiarity with SAP industry best practices, terminology, and administrative support tools.
    • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work with a team as well as contribute individually, and follow standards and strict change control procedures.
    • Strong quantitative analytical abilities, including an understanding of common data analysis tools and programs
    • Works effectively in a support team-oriented environment to promote knowledge transfer
    • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate complex and technical information to different audiences, including elected officials, various levels of City management and members of the public, in a simple, clear and straightforward manner, including the use of graphs and tables as needed.
