To be a successful NPI Engineer you will embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. Additionally, you will exhibit strategic vision, thoughtful engagement, strong analytical/process skills, a bias for action, and the ability to partner with senior operational leaders.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities:

• Medical devices experience with good knowledge/hands-on experience in NPD, NPI, Process and Equipment validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Six to Eight (6-8) years minimum experience in engineering in a medical device environment preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment developing manufacturing standards.
• Proficient in project management, creating credibility within team members and expanding capabilities of the group.
• Experience or knowledge in short and long-term project management.
• Required occasionally to interact with surgeons and/or key opinion leaders on site or on location.
• Required to interact with external suppliers to develop new materials, components or finished goods.

What qualifications you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
