The ideal candidate will have experience in IT domain & basic understanding of enterprise IT technologies, B2B service sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. We will rely on you to partner with our marketing department to conduct market research and develop a strategic business development plan. Travel throughout the United States may be required for this position.

    If you Have:

    • Hands on work experience of more than 10+ Years in Business Development with demonstrated expertise in new client acquisitions and B2B sales
    • Strong customer acquisition & networking capabilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
    • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • In depth understanding of the IT Staffing industry, with the drive & ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
    • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose IT solutions for clients
    • Existing network of strong client relationships and references
    • Experience delivering services in the areas of custom application development, BI/Analytics, ERP, IT Staffing, Mobility, PLM & managed IT services
    • Experience working with Fortune 500 Enterprise clients
    • Experience driving practice revenues upwards of $1M in assigned delivery and business growth areas

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and IT/staffing needs
    • Network and develop relationships with prospective GBSI clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
    • Partner with sales teams to lead technical discovery sessions to uncover client needs and create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
    • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
    • Collaborate with GBSI Technical Teams to ensure contracted service specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
    • Become a subject matter expert on GBSI business services, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry’s trends & emerging technologies
    • Attend various local trade shows, industry events and conferences to represent GBSI and network to collect leads and references
    • Collect, analyze and quality RFP’s in relevant business areas. Draft winning RFP responses and follow up with the solicitation entities for next steps
