    GENIUS FUND, a private equity fund focused on complete vertical integration in breakthrough industries, is seeking FIELD SALES SUMMER INTERNS to work closely with our sales, business development, and marketing teams. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, working directly with early stage start-ups to implement growth strategies across Los Angeles. Students looking to gain experience in sales and business development are encouraged to apply.

    This is a great opportunity to sharpen communication skills, negotiation tactics, and strategic planning skills. Interns who wish to gain hands-on sales experience will partner with sales leaders in our organization, learn from their approaches to client acquisition and negotiation, and have the opportunity to pitch cutting-edge point-of-sale (POS) products to business owners in Los Angeles.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SUMMER INTERN INCLUDE:

    • Working with sales leadership to identify business opportunities throughout Los Angeles
    • Utilizing proprietary verbal and written sales language to gain introductions and close deals
    • Delivering presentations to clients on how our product line operates
    • Developing and maintaining expertise with Customer Relationship Management software
    • Gaining hands-on experience in the field of sales and marketing in the context of private equity

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SUMMER INTERN INCLUDE:

    • Current college enrollment required
    • Interest in careers in sales, business development, or product marketing
    • Verbal communication/presentation skills
    • Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline
    • Are open-minded with a passion for learning a wide-range of skills that will carry through a variety of career paths
