In Los Angeles, we need fundraisers to build help us to build power and funding for some of the greatest nonprofit organizations on the planet. Join our street team and represent The Nature Conservancy in the fight to protect our environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We will pay you to ‘be the change that you want to see in the world.' Our team recruits and organizes people and voices for incredible nonprofit organizations like The Nature Conservancy. Face-to-face fundraising is one of the fastest growing sectors in nonprofit fundraising. Your primary duties will be to:

• Be the public face of the organizations we represent: For most people, an interaction with a face-to-face fundraiser is the closest they will come to speaking with the actual nonprofit organization. We take our commitment to our partners, their brands and their missions very seriously.
• Build monthly support: As fundraisers our top priority is securing quality monthly support for the organizations we partner with.
• Ensure donor security: Strict adherence to internal security protocols to protect donor data

QUALIFICATIONS

You'll possess the following skills:

• Strong Verbal Communication Skills. (English is required, bilingual is a plus)
• The unshakeable belief that one person can change the world.
• Understand that this is an outdoor job. We work rain or shine.
• No fear of quota.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Goal orientated, positive, and passionate about fundraising.
• Comfortable engaging with members of the public in public places.
• Previous sales, canvassing, nonprofit experience preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00+ per hour
