We are currently looking for a Tax Manager with a CPA who has lead and developed a Tax Staff. This candidate will eventually be willing and interested in growing a practice.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage all aspects of the client service relationship and strive to develop specific knowledge of the client’s business and industry.
- Interacting closely with client’s to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.
- Manage the client’s tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and recognize tax planning opportunities.
- Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.
- Successfully train, motivate and develop less-experienced staff.
- Delegate, supervise and evaluate Staff and Senior’s.
- Act as a mentor to Staff and assist with recruiting and retention.
- Identify potential opportunities for new and/or extended client services.
- Perform other essential duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Multi-state experience preferred
- Big 4 public accounting experience (or large local/regional firm) required
- Minimum 5-8 years' experience in the field
