Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist with 2 or more years of experience for our Charlotte, North Carolina office. _
**
Responsibilities:**_

• Manage and perform standard environmental services, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and remedial implementation
• Prepare accurate project documentation and manage and write reports and other deliverables (including appropriate figures, analysis summary tables, and exploration logs)
• Responsible for scheduling and performing field activities with supervision from higher-level personnel, monitoring budget, updating supervisors and communicating with the client
• Prepare scopes of work, proposals, and cost estimates
• Handle administrative office tasks and demonstrate efficient project management skills
• Coordinate with other GTA disciplines such as geotechnical and construction testing staff when appropriate

Environmenta l ** Scientist Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science/geology/engineering or related field
• Phase I ESA experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with regulations, field techniques, and reporting
• Soil/groundwater/soil vapor sampling and other Phase II ESA field experience
• Experience with other environmental services (e.g., Asbestos/Lead-Based Paint Surveys, NEPA/SHPO evaluations, and similar work) a plus
