GTA is currently seeking a STAFF LEVEL ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST with 1-6 years experience for our Baltimore, MarylanD office. 

Primary responsibilities will include field work, research, interviews, and writing of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), as well as field work for Phase II ESA projects, including soil screening, soil and groundwater sampling, and soil vapor sampling.  Candidates with more experience will be involved in regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor mitigation, site remediation, asbestos/lead-based paint surveys, and project management.

Successful candidates MUST have:

• BS Degree in environmental science/geology/engineering or related field
• Phase I ESA experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with regulations, asbestos, and lead-based paint evaluations desirable
• Soil/groundwater sampling and other Phase II ESA experience a plus
