Product Technical Support Technician

We are currently seeking to add a Product Technical Support Technician to our Technical Service Team!
In this role, you’ll work directly with our customers providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance. By testing and evaluating existing and new product designs, you’ll support our engineering departments while setting up and using electronic test equipment to record, compile, and analyze data for evaluation. Your ability to multitask and design and create solutions efficiently to help our customers solve problems will be a critical success factor in the role.

Essential functions and responsibilities of this role include:
Providing technical support to internal and external customers
Troubleshoot and answer technical questions through email and over the phone related to our products, software, and data acquisition systems
Promote a positive company image while working with our customers and other Geokon employees
Establish strong working relationships with our customer base
Assist and train other functional areas such as Production Assembly, Quality, Repair, etc as needed
Field services – assist with installation, training and troubleshooting as required
To be considered for this position you should have:
An Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Technical service and support experience
Strong customer service skills
Working knowledge of electronic test equipment
Familiarity with basic programming
The ability to evaluate mechanical blueprints and tolerances, sketching and layout work
A Passport or the ability to obtain a Passport to travel internationally for Field Services
Knowledge and experience using relative software programs
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Position is eligible to work remotely within the Continental United States of America, with travel as needed to Geokon's home office in Lebanon, NH.
