    Geomet is seeking to fill a Sales Support position within our commercial accounts team. In a Sales Support position, you will be partnered with our commercial team providing them with support acting as a liaison between the trader, customer and supporting Geomet team members to ensure the customers’ needs are being fulfilled. This position will be the initial point of contact with clients. You will be provided with the training, resources and opportunities to enhance your skillset with a defined path to be promoted to a buyer responsible for your own book of business. This position reports to the VP of Industrial Accounts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for contacting new clients, such as manufacturers and independent contractors to provide them with information, coordinate in person meetings with the leads and Geomet buyers, and email marketing collateral with the ultimate goal to begin selling their metal recyclables to Geomet.
    • Responsible for assisting the commercial group with any marketing campaigns.
    • Responsible for assisting the commercial group with projects and event planning.

    Required Experience:

    • At least two years of previous sales support experience
    • Knowledge of non-ferrous/ferrous metals is a plus
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Great phone etiquette/Articulate Communicator
    • Must be Proficient in MS Office programs Word, Excel, and Outlook
