GEORGE SINK, P.A. INJURY LAWYERS IS LOOKING FOR A MOTIVATED PARALEGAL/LEGAL ASSISTANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN THE MYRTLE BEACH, SC AREA. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO MANAGE A LARGE CASELOAD IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT.

As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you are responsible for providing support to attorneys assisting with all aspects of personal injury and worker's compensation law in South Carolina and Georgia.

DUTIES:

• Establishes and organizes case files for new and existing clients
• Maintains case management system (Needles) by uploading all client documents
• Keeps client informed on a regular basis by maintaining contact with the client; communicating case progress
• Support case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, etc.
• Monitor and obtain discovery responses
• Request medical records from providers
• Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years experience in a similar administrative role, preferably as a legal assistant or case manager
• Experience using a case management system, preferably Needles
• Strong Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.

OFFICE HOURS: 8 AM-5 PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
