Georgetown Learning Centers and its affiliate company Thinkingstorm is a tutoring and academic support company that is looking for an experienced professional who can help with a wide variety of financial and management tasks including:-Profit and Loss Reports-Restructuring accounts and managing financial records-Generating and Paying Bills-Utilizing Quickbooks Enterprise and Quikcbooks Online to generate and maintain financial reports-Create budget and cashflow projections-Other tasks such as monthly reconciliation and coding transactionsCandidates must have previous accounting or financial experience, with preference given to those with a CPA or similar qualifications. Previous experience as a controller or similar position is a plus as well. We ask for a time commitment of 15-20 hours per week, and while the position is very flexible in that it is mainly remote and you have control over when you work those hours and how you craft your schedule, we do require candidates to be available for occasional in person work meetings. Therefore, we do require candidates that have the ability to come in to our McLean, Virginia offices on a roughly once a week basis. Compensation can vary between $25-$50 dollars an hour.
