    Athens Technical College's Institute for Online Training and Instructional Systems (IOTIS) has an opening for an E-Learning Specialist to assist in creating, maintaining, and facilitating web-based delivery of training modules for workers in the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services. The work location is the Athens campus of Athens Technical College. This position is full-time and contract funded with potential for renewal.

    The E-Learning Specialist reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for serving as the specialist for the Office of Family Independence (OFI) online courses. The E-Learning Specialist will assist in designing, developing and delivering training that is based on sound pedagogical principles and demonstrated knowledge of the learner-centered approach to education, learning styles, interactivity, feedback, testing, and evaluation. Conducting daily interactive webinars is an important function of the person in this position.

    The position will remain open until Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 4:30 pm.

    Skills/Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related human services field . Work experience may subsititute for the degree on a year to year basis; knowledge of web-based learning and experience with DFCS Office of Family Independence (OFI) in the state of Georgia; and demonstrated ability to meet established deadlines along with strong computer/technical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
