MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Direct responsibility for quality product creation, commercialization and maintenance.
- Responsible for Clinical Quality integrity for HealthHelp program and product offerings for the CPO organization.
- Develop quality programs supporting Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Oncology, and MSK among others.
CUSTOMER EXCELLENCE
- Create strong working relationship with customers to ensure high levels of service and delivery.
- Works closely with payer customers to ensure programs and products are delivering the appropriate quality & safety.
- Continuous focus on improving quality and program value.
STRATEGIC FOCUS
- Create strategic vision and direction for the quality products including new opportunities for growth and long term roadmap for success.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to create a distinctive product vision.
- Create a quality framework and process to ensure all new programs and products have a significant quality and safety component that are proactively measured and reported.
COLLABORATION
- Collaborate with Program Management, Quality Improvement Team, and Medical Informatics to translate product vision into an executable roadmap for core product and potential expansion into other areas.
- Work closely with Program Management and Clinical teams to ensure quality and safety elements are incorporate in each program and service.
- Partner with software development, IT management, engineering to perform product discovery to ensure that we are building high value, usable and desired features.
COMMUNICATION
- Provide internal and external stakeholders with updates on product roadmap.
- Provide updates on clinical quality opportunities for programs and products.
- Provide internal management reporting for product performance gaps and improvement plans.
- Communicate upcoming product changes to product marketing and client services teams to ensure appropriate communication for new product releases.
- Collaborate with program management to provide product performance updates, which includes analytics on performance of various clinical indications through the program’s operational tiers.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Incorporate product feedback, change requests, new feature requests, client customizations and such into product releases
- Continue to refine product vision based on feedback from end users, working team, and internal and external thought leaders
Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Clinical background, Radiology experience preferred
- Experience managing quality programs in a clinical setting.
- 10+ years of experience in product management
- 10+ years of healthcare industry experience specifically managed care in the areas of medical management, product development, product management
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Knowledge of managed care systems and processes, claims & eligibility feeds.
- Understanding of managed care operational workflows a plus.
