    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The HR Generalist is a dynamic problem-solver who is passionate about recruiting and retaining top talent while ensuring company morale and standards are reflected at all times. The Human Resources Generalist reports to the HR Manager and assists in handling the day to day operations of the HR Department on a professional level, carrying out responsibilities ranging from hiring, on-boarding, policy implementation, employee morale, employment law compliance and other administrative duties as assigned. Specific duties include but are not limited to:

    • Recruit and interview open positions as assigned.
    • Develop a working relationship with assigned hiring managers.
    • Create an applicant pool using such resources as job boards, networking, search engines, job fairs, and by initiating direct contact with both active and passive job candidates.
    • Utilize and update applicant tracking system as appropriate.
    • Conduct pre-employment screening via phone to determine the suitability for employment.
    • Conduct new hire on-boarding and orientation; including coordination of travel when needed.
    • Assist employees with benefit and other general HR needs
    • Survey and influence a positive morale and employee retention
    • Serve as liaison between the home office HR department and the Mohnton facility
    • Special projects as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • 1-3 years’ experience in related position. 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
    • Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally.
    • Must be professional, responsive, resourceful, flexible, well-organized, and maintain a positive work attitude while being a team player.
    • Ability to work independently, maintain filing systems and basic databases, gather information as required, and make sound, timely, and accurate judgments.

    Required Experience

    • Experience working with HRIS systems.
    • Knowledge of employment law, EEOC regulations and AA programs are a plus.
    • Experience in legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance issues regarding employment practices
    • Experience with sourcing for a wide variety of both corporate and field positions
    • Experience with reaching passive candidates through proactive recruiting
