$16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on education, credentials, and experience)

Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy #33 is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and energetic Assistant Georgia Pre-K Teacher to join our team. We are a 3-Star Quality Rated program committed to providing a high-quality early childhood education experience that prepares children for kindergarten success.

Responsibilities
Assist the Lead Georgia Pre-K Teacher in implementing the Georgia Pre-K curriculum and daily lesson plans.
Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Supervise children during classroom activities, playground time, meals, and transitions.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Observe and document children's progress as directed by the Lead Teacher.
Ensure compliance with all Bright from the Start, Georgia Pre-K, and Kids 'R' Kids policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher requirements and possess one of the following:
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential; OR
Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education; OR
Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field; OR
Be actively enrolled in an approved program leading to one of the above credentials.
Additional Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass the Bright from the Start comprehensive background check.
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a Georgia Pre-K classroom.
Knowledge of GELDS (Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards).
Experience with classroom documentation and child assessments.
