Job Description

Position Purpose : Under the general direction of the Assistant Deposit Operations Manager, the position of Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of regular and recurring moderately to highly complex operational and accounting functions to support bank operations. Provide coverage for Wire and ACH processing, MSB Cash Order processing, oversee the bank's deposit portfolio, Exception Item processing, EFT error & fraud mitigation, escheatment process, EOY tax notice coordination, processing of levy, garnishment and subpoenas for the bank. Complies with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations. Essential Functions and Basic Duties: · Can handle NSF/Exception Item processing, wire origination, incoming wire processing, ACH origination, FRB reconciliation, EFT recon, dormant account handling, check adjustments, return items, research requests · Provide support to branch staff; point of contact for escalation of operational issues · Process EFT disputes, provide debit card support and perform card maintenance · Levy, garnishment, subpoena processing · Responsible for special projects as needed · MSB Cash Order process (place cash order, entries, CTR creation, CTR submission) · Handles Access Manager to open and update online profiles, re-set passwords, and increase limits · Handles navigator to open and update customer accounts · If approved, additional documentation will be requested in order to move forward with the account opening process · Handles end point set ups with the FED for new MSB customers if needed · Handles ACH file review, incoming return processing, and ACH originator management · Maintains Fedline reporting profiles for ACH customers · Processes ACH disputes and manual outgoing returns · Reviews file maintenance completed on customer accounts by branch personnel · Compiles data for monthly Board reporting · Handles RDC analysis, set up, training, and management · Handles Wire manager set up, training, file review, and processing · Sets up and maintains all other Treasury Services products · Main point of contact for ServisFirst credit cards · Assists customers and maintains CheckFree PartnerCare (Bill Pay) Performance Measurements: * The Deposit Operations Specialist functions are efficiently, effectively, and accurately performed in accordance with established bank policies, standards, security and credit procedures. * Good business relations exist with customers. Customer's problems or questions are courteously and promptly resolved. * Good working relationships and coordination exist with other personnel and management. * Assistance is provided to other bank personnel as needed.
