  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY

    MONDAY-FRIDAY 9AM-6PM

    Primary duties of this position consist of daily upkeep of the warehouse. These functions may be performed by authorized personnel throughout the Production and Inventory environments and must be audited regularly.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Put all incoming inventory away appropriately into either the Autostore or the bin and pallet locations around the warehouse.
    • Place bins/Gaylords
    • Consolidate bins and pallets efficiently
    • Cycle count inventory
    • Restock inventory from production
    • Ensure empty bins are recycled and reset for repeated use
    • Perform necessary tasks to complete stock check requests in a timely fashion
    • Provide general support in other areas of the warehouse as directed by management.
    • May be modified from time to time. Other duties may be assigned.

    METRICS AND MEASUREMENTS

    Inventory Support Associates will be expected to maintain a goal attainment level of at least 100% based on the established performance metrics (TBD).  Failure to meet this minimum level for a period of two consecutive months will result in MRS action.

     

    WORK SCHEDULE

    This is an hourly position.  The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day.   Employee’s schedule may change due to business needs.  Employee is expected to report to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies.  Employee is required to be available for additional/overtime as needed.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Detail oriented
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Computer literate
    • Ability to multi-task and work at fast pace
    • Some technical competency

     

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

    ·         High School Diploma or equivalent required

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Forklift licenses (as necessary)

    OSHA 30 Authorization

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
    • Frequent walking
    • Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
    • Lifting requirements include continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds, occasional handling up to 100 pounds
    • Frequent walking on open, raised catwalk

     

    BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN

    Eligible for commission after successful completion of introductory 90 days.

     

    EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

    • Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
    • Quarterly reviews – Employee will be given a brief written quarterly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
    • Annual Reviews – Quarterly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The environment is a warehouse setting.  Dress attire is casual but professional in a warehouse setting.  All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received.  OSHA approved and Company provided hard hats are required to be worn in Area 51 at all times. All handheld users are required to wear the appropriate belt/holster assembly while a unit is in their possession.

    Closed toe, hard soled shoes must be worn.  Safety shoes are recommended.  Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times.    Employees must adhere to all Radwell Safety Requirements at all times (see safety manual posted online).
