Gerber & Co. Inc. is seeking a Tax Assembly Administrator for our growing Memphis, TN, CPA office.

Job Description

Gerber & Co is in search of an experienced Tax Assembly person who will assume the responsibilities of compiling tax returns for client distribution, closely supervising and monitoring pending Docu-Sign submissions from clients, and efficiently facilitating the submission of finalized tax returns. This role includes client-facing responsibilities. Great fit for someone who prefers working within a medium-sized established firm and values work-life balance. Responsibilities:

• Print tax returns to PDF from Lacerte tax software
• Utilize the Docu-Sign platform to dispatch tax returns and engagement letters to clients for their completion and subsequent return, ensuring all necessary signatures are obtained before proceeding to submit the finalized tax returns.
• Diligently monitor and manage pending tax returns awaiting client signatures.
• Efficiently coordinate and provide estimated tax vouchers to clients as required.

Qualifications:

• Comprehension of tax forms and tax filing procedures.
• Preferred experience in tax preparation or tax return assembly.
• Proficiency in client-facing communication, ensuring effective interactions.
• Attention to detail, consistently maintaining a high level of accuracy and precision.
