Position Summary:

Performs routine maintenance on anodizing line equipment including process tanks (tank maintenance); maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records. Operates Waste Water Treatment Equipment. Ensuring Quality standards and processes are used and are consistent with Company established goals for quality, safety and customer order on-time delivery.

 Performs routine maintenance on all anodize line equipment and process tanks

 Equipment includes hoists, blowers, carts, filter pumps and other equipment

 Inspects and replaces electrical connecting cables and sensing devices

 Changes all filter media on the anodize line.

 Decants all process and rinse tanks as needed.

 Makes chemical additions as needed

 Must be familiar with line piping systems and chemical feed system

 Must be familiar with waste water treatment system, including operation of chemical feed pumps and piping. (Class K Waste Water Certificate a plus)

 Transfer waste water chemicals from barrels into holding tanks wearing proper PPE

 Operates waste water filter press and properly disposes of press filter cake on a daily basis.

 Monitors rinse tank cleanliness on the process line

 Monitors tank temperatures on the process line

 Performs lab solution analysis

 Documents all changes made and communicates all changes to proper channels

 Must be able to stand and work with hands for duration of shift, will require lifting metal components.

 Must be able to work long hours if needed. Weekend overtime might be required.

 Leverage and use ERP System to document actions by completing required work orders, to view or print misc. documents, labels etc. Record data as required through Anodizing and Waste Water requirements (electronic logs)

 Maintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

 Participate in required meetings and training.

 Maintains safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

 Demonstrating work behaviors consistent with the company values and work within prescribed boundaries, including company policies, standards, and procedures.

 Maintains safe operations by recognizing hazards in the workplace and follows all safety rules such as wearing safety glasses and other PPE requirements for the job being performed.Other PPE can include, but is not limited to back brace for handling items over

 Knows how to identify hazardous materials and properly follow the hazardous material safety procedures.
